MS BIZUWORK KETETE

MS BIZUWORK KETETE is a highly respected governance specialist, electoral administration expert, and international development strategist with extensive leadership experience across democratic governance, election management, civil society engagement, and institutional reform in Africa. She served as a Board Member of the National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) from 2019 to 2025, where she oversaw external relations and partnerships, civil society engagement, domestic and international election observation, and gender and social inclusion.

Her career spans senior governance leadership roles with the Embassy of Ireland (Irish Aid–Ethiopia), ActionAid, Saferworld, the World Bank, and major governance and conflict prevention programmes across the Horn of Africa. She has worked extensively at the intersection of governance reform, donor coordination, civil society strengthening, conflict prevention, and democratic institutional development.

With broad international exposure across Africa, Europe, and global development platforms, Ms Ketete brings a strong combination of electoral governance, strategic partnerships, development diplomacy, and institutional leadership. Her academic and professional training includes electoral policy administration, strategic planning, governance management, and public sector leadership, making her a highly credible and strategic governance leader.
